Architectural Technologist

Whether you are an Architect, Architectural Technologist or Building Surveyor, we’re looking for someone to join our Design & Project Management Team. The role involves:

  • Carrying out measured surveys
  • Dealing with building contractors and residential properties
  • Meeting and liaising with clients
  • Overseeing projects on site
  • Preparing and submitting planning and Building Regulations applications
  • Production of tender packages (to include drawings, specification writing, and schedules of works).
  • Administering building contracts, snagging of building works, valuations, etc.
  • This role will be hybrid with a combination of office, home working, and visiting sites nationally to inspect the progress of construction projects.

Qualifications and experience

  • Revit proficient. 3D visualisation experience will be useful but not essential.
  • An accredited degree in architecture or building surveying or equivalent HND/HNC.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience producing drawings within RIBA stage 2-4.
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Preparing and submitting planning applications.
  • Residential property experience.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • UK Building Regulations experience.
  • Contract administration experience would be beneficial.

Applicants must be based in the UK and have a full and clean driving license with no criminal record.

Legal Secretary

The successful applicant will report directly to the Office Manager and Director of the Business. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the Personal Injury or Medical Negligence legal sector. Due to the nature of the role, it is a fully office-based position (8:30 am – 5:00 pm or 9:00 am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday).

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling of court documentation within tight deadlines
  • Digital dictation/copy typing
  • Diary management, organising appointments, travel and accommodation
  • Document management and archiving
  • Liaising with clients and solicitors
  • Managing incoming calls and enquiries
  • Ordering office supplies and stationery when required.
