Jonathan joined Steven Docker Associates (SDA) in 2025 as part of the Design Team, working as an Architectural Technologist. He graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology from Liverpool John Moores University in 2016, and throughout his career he’s been involved in a wide range of projects. These include public-sector developments such as train stations, schools, student accommodation, bespoke homes, and large warehouse schemes.

At SDA, he utilises his broad project experience helping to craft architectural solutions that improve the lives of our clients. Through close collaboration with both clients and colleagues, Jonathan delivers environments that are functional, thoughtful, and bespoke.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your work?
“The most rewarding part of my work is helping clients and their families enjoy a better quality of life. Seeing how a project can enhance their day-to-day experience is incredibly fulfilling.”

What do you enjoy away from the office?
“Away from work, I enjoy visiting National Trust sites and also enjoy keeping fit through regular gym sessions and Muay Thai, but my biggest passion is cycling.”
